Hailey Shanahan is a junior college-transfer from Temple Community College in Texas. A native of Australia, Shanahan finished her first season at NKU with a 5-17 singles record in top-flight matches. Shanahan also had a doubles record 8-13 while playing in the top-flight matches. But what else do you know about Hailey?
Q: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
A: I don’t really have one. Probably some pasta.
Q: Do you have any sports-related superstitions?
A: No.
Q: What would be your best achievement to date?
A: Winning at nationals last year, making it through the round of 16 in junior college.
Q: What is the number one song on your iPod?
A: “Nosebleed Section” by Hilltop Hoods.
Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
A: Adam Scott.
Q: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
A: Probably take my parents on a holiday and move back home.

A: Spiders.

A: Vanilla.
Q: What is your dream vacation destination?
A: Probably Greece.
Q: What other sport do you wish you were equally as good at?
A: Golf.

A: Game of Thrones.

A: Christmas because I get to go back to Australia and I get to spend it with family and it’s summer there.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of tennis?
A: I like to spend the time at the beach, surfing and playing golf. Basically just spend time outside.
